Boar's Head offers more than 15 different turkey lunch meat options, including all natural, smoked, honey and maple-flavored. If you're looking for a heart-healthy turkey lunch meat, the no-salt added, oven-roasted turkey makes a good option with 70 calories, 1 gram of total fat, 15 grams of protein and 55 milligrams of sodium per 2-ounce serving. The Maple Glazed Honey Coat Cured Turkey is a little higher in sodium, but is still a heart-healthy option, with 70 calories, 0.5 grams of total fat, 14 grams of protein, 2 grams of carbs and 440 milligrams of sodium per 2-ounce serving. Getting too much sodium in your diet increases your risk of high blood pressure, and processed foods like lunch meat are a source of sodium in your diet. For better health, limit your intake to less than 2,300 milligrams a day.
